More progress was made this weekend in the removal of our troubled trees. Bill and Donna’s niece’s husband, Ryan, came by to help. The chainsaw was fired up, and branches were cut and hauled to “the pile.” Ropes and muscles guided large upper branches away from the House. All that work was a bit much for the chainsaw, so the last stump will have to wait for next weekend. The Elm Street side is now open to the sun, allowing more light inside and allowing easier access to explore the mud sill foundation. Here’s the day in pictures!
As always, visitors and helpers are welcome on the weekends when you see Bill and Donna there. 🙂
